Styling tip

Choose a decorative pot of around 30 cm in diameter in matte anthracite, concrete look or unglazed terracotta: at this size, a heavier pot carries the look better than a light basket. Place the plant freely in a corner and pull the lowest leaves forward so the base stays hidden. A spotlight from below lets the split leaves cast shadows on the wall in the evening that instantly make the room feel tropical.

Quality you can see

No two leaves are the same: the cuts vary in depth, the holes in number and position. The midrib is thick and runs all the way to the leaf tip, with fine side veins that let the leaf wave slightly instead of lying flat. The stems are individually inserted into the trunks and flexible at the base. The trunks have knots at uneven distances, so the base doesn't look machine-made.
