Product description

An artificial Bucida of 160 cm with a slender trunk and a broad, round crown of small round leaves: the size that fits perfectly in a living room corner or next to the sofa, without dominating the space.

Who is this artificial plant for?

For those who want a tree in the house that starts at eye level and doesn't reach the ceiling. The crown of this artificial Bucida is broader than in the taller sizes and hangs lower on the trunk, so it fills a corner next to the sofa, an empty spot next to the cabinet, or the end of a hallway. In an apartment or a room with a standard ceiling, 160 cm is the size that doesn't get in the way but is still noticed.

What makes this Bucida special?

  • Broad, round crown: the branches fan out in all directions and carry rosettes of small, round leaves, so the tree looks full from every angle.
  • Slender trunk with bark texture: a grey-brown trunk with relief, just like the Bucida buceras found on terraces around the Mediterranean.
  • Maintenance-free: no water, no hassle, beautiful for years.
  • Two shades of green: lighter young leaves on top and darker foliage lower in the crown create depth.
  • 19 cm nursery pot: fits a wide range of decorative pots from our collection.

Styling tip

Place the Bucida in a matte black or anthracite decorative pot and set a low table lamp beside it: the light through the open crown draws the branches on the wall. In a bright room with wood and linen, a sand-coloured ceramic pot works more calmly. Combine with a low artificial plant at the base, for example an artificial fern, so the trunk doesn't look bare.

Quality you can see

The leaves are small, round and slightly spatula-shaped, with a light sheen and a visible midrib. They sit in clusters at the branch tips, just like on the real tree. The trunk is made of plastic with cast-in bark and doesn't discolour in a warm room. The branches are flexible, so you decide yourself how open or closed the crown becomes.
