For anyone looking for a plant that gives volume rather than height. This artificial Alocasia is 135 cm tall but almost as wide, with leaves from bottom to top of the plant. That means it fills an empty corner better than a slender tree would. In a living room with a lot of white or concrete, the large leaves break up the sharp lines; in an office or waiting room it instantly makes a hallway feel less bare.

Styling tip

Choose a decorative pot in a calm tone: matte black, anthracite or dark ceramic makes the creamy white veins stand out the most. Place the plant slightly away from the corner and turn the largest leaves toward the room, so you look at the front of the leaf instead of the back. Combine it with a narrow, tall artificial plant next to it if you want more vertical line in the same corner.

Quality you can see

The veins are not printed on but molded into the leaf, so you can feel the relief with your fingers. Each leaf sits on its own flexible stem that comes out of the brown, fibrous trunk, so after unpacking you pull the layers apart until the plant looks full. The trunk is made of plastic with a molded bark structure and has thin aerial roots along the base. The polyester leaf has a matte finish and stays colorfast indoors.
